Scrap Metal Vertical Balers
The SMB Series Vertical Balers were designed for the nonferrous scrap metal industry. They are designed and built much heavier than typical vertical balers designed for cardboard applications. This is so they can withstand the rigourous environments in which they are placed. Five models are available, ranging in size from 36” up to 60” chamber widths and 6” main bores up to our big 10” main bore. Large feed openings are also a plus on the 60” wide models to allow handling of bulky items. Bale wights range from 500 up to 5,000 pounds, depending on the model and type of material being baled.
